Employee Spotlight - Kevin Nowlin, Hot Shop
Kevin joined us last year in August, just before our Festival of Glass, as a hot shop apprentice. He’s stepped up consistently ever since, running through the paces, and also doing a little Running Man on his way to and from the furnaces to gather. Kev can be seen dancing and singing around the hot shop floor, usually to earworms that get stuck in everyone else’s heads. He’s become really proficient at gathering, and is one of the anchors on our Water Bottle shop – and has been crucial to getting our Starry Nights and Mercurys looking sharp. We enjoy his good humor and affable sense of humor, and happy to have him on the team.
