Auction Terms & Conditions

1. Bidding and Purchase Commitments

• Legally Binding Commitment: When you place a bid, commit to buy, or win an auction, you enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item. This commitment cannot be revoked unless under exceptional circumstances approved by Blenko.
• Review Listings Carefully: It is your responsibility to read and understand the full item listing, including shipping, handling, and any additional terms, before placing a bid or committing to buy.

2. Payment Policy

• Timely Payment Required: All auction items must be paid for in full within 24 hours of the auction’s close.
  
• Payment Methods: Accepted payment methods will be detailed in each listing. Ensure you have the means to complete payment before placing a bid.

3. Non-Payment and Penalties

• Order Forfeiture: Failure to pay in full within the 24-hour timeframe will result in the forfeiture of your order.
  
• Account Ban: Accounts associated with unpaid auction orders will be permanently banned from participating in Blenko Auctions and may be restricted from other sections of Blenko.com.
  
• No Refunds of Forfeited Bids: Any forfeited winning bids are non-refundable.
• Legal Action: In extreme cases, Blenko reserves the right to pursue legal remedies to collect payment from winning bidders who fail to honor their contractual obligation to pay for auction items. 

4. Bid Retraction Policy

• Commitment to Bid: Placing a bid indicates a serious intent to purchase. Bids can only be retracted in exceptional circumstances (as determined by Blenko) and must comply with our bid retraction policy.
• Exceptional Circumstances: If you need to retract a bid due to an error or other valid reason, you must contact Blenko Customer Support immediately and no less than 5 hours before the end of the auction. Requests made after this time may not be honored.

5. Dispute Resolution

• Binding Agreement: By participating in Blenko Auctions, you agree to resolve any disputes related to your participation through direct communication with Blenko.
  
• Fraud Prevention: Any attempts to game or abuse the auction system, including but not limited to non-payment or fraudulent bidding, will be investigated and may result in legal action.

6. Changes to Terms

• Blenko reserves the right to modify these Auction Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page, and continued participation in Blenko Auctions constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

7. Auction Returns, Refunds, and 'Love It Guarantee'

• Returns and Refunds: Blenko Auctions does not accept returns or issue refunds for auction items unless the item was damaged or lost in transit.
  
• Exclusions from 'Love It Guarantee': Auction items are not eligible for the 'Love It Guarantee' due to the unique and specific nature of each piece. High-resolution photos are provided with each listing to ensure buyers can approve the item’s condition and characteristics before purchase.
  
• Damaged or Lost Items: If your auction item is damaged during shipping or lost in transit, please contact Blenko Customer Support within 7 business days of delivery to report the issue and initiate a claim.

8. Listing Accuracy and Errors

• No Guarantee of Accuracy: While Blenko makes every effort to ensure that auction listings are accurate and complete, errors in descriptions, pricing, photographs, or other details may occur.
  
• Right to Correct Errors: Blenko reserves the right to correct any inaccuracies, cancel bids, or withdraw items from auction at any time without notice, including after the auction has ended.
  
• Non-Binding Errors: In the event of a material error in a listing (e.g., incorrect pricing or item details), Blenko may rescind the transaction and refund any payments received. Buyers agree that they will not hold Blenko liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by listing errors.

9. Precedence of Bids & Autobid Functionality Information

• Blenko auctions feature autobid functionality that allows customers to set a maximum target price. The system automatically places bids (within the minimum bid increment) until either the target price is reached or no further bids are placed.
• The system accepts only one autobid per price level, requiring subsequent autobids from other customers to exceed any existing autobid amount.
• When a customer places a manual bid equal to another customer's autobid amount, the manual bid takes precedence.
