Take a look at the magic behind artisan, handcrafted glass.
Fun for all ages!
Step into our studio to see how Blenko glass water bottles, vases, and more are made. Our expert tour guides are versed in the history of Blenko and do a fantastic job of sharing our journey with everyone who stops by. See everything from our gift shop to the inner workings of our glass blowing floor. You can even catch a glimpse of our artists in action!
Group trips are welcome.
Groups, families, and individuals are all welcome to tour the Blenko grounds. Here are some folks we think will especially love the trip:
• School Field Trips • Family Outings
• Glass Enthusiasts • Tourists and Bus Groups • History Buffs • Students of the Decorative Arts
• Museum Lovers
• the generally curious!
Masks are required to participate in tours at the request of our artisans. Masks are no longer required in our Visitor Center Gift Shop or to view glassblowing from our observation area but they are required to participate in guided tours. Those who do not wish to follow this guideline will not be allowed to participate. (Please bring your own mask. Masks for those who do not bring will be provided while supplies last)
Tour participants must also follow all rules and directions of your tour guide. Failure to comply will result in removal from campus.
Tour participants must be at least 14 years old to be on the factory floor.
Closed toed shoes and eye protection are required to be on the factory floor. (Eye protection will be provided by Blenko for use).
All members of your group need to arrive together. (Anyone arriving after tour departure will need to wait for the next tour to begin).
Unfortunately when our factory was imagined over 100 years ago, they did not account for handi-capability or provide room to make our entire campus wheelchair accessible and as such, parts of our tour and observation areas are not currently wheelchair accessible.
Thank you for continuing to be an amazing community and supporting handcrafted West Virginia goods!
