Employee Spotlight: Jackie Estep
Talk about shattering expectations, not glass!
Meet Jackie Estep, who joined the Blenko Glass family in August 2023. Jackie is an incredibly motivated woman, the kind of person who proves day after day that no challenge is too big and no job is too hard. There is nothing she isn’t willing to try, and her determination shines in everything she does.
Jackie first came to Blenko as an apprentice, but when a few transitions happened, we asked her to step in with our Shipping Crew for a few months. She agreed without hesitation and still jumps in to help with sales and big drops when we need her. We’ve since sent her home to the hot shop where she is shattering expectations left and right.
Her goals here are just as bold as her work ethic, and Jackie is striving to become the first female blower in Blenko’s history. If you ask us, we’re pretty sure she just might make it happen. She’s already turning heads with her dedication, and we can’t wait to see how far she goes.
At first, Jackie may come across a little reserved, but it doesn’t take long before her true colors beam through. Once you know her, you’ll find someone spunky, energetic, and hilarious, with a clever wit that always keeps people on their toes. If she catches your eye across the room, be ready, ‘cause Jackie is known for her signature finger guns (don’t you make fun of her tiny hands!), a playful little gesture that perfectly sums up her mix of humor and confidence, and you should consider yourself lucky if you’ve been on the receiving end.
