Employee Spotlight: Zachary Nelson - Hot Shop Apprentice
Some people are shy around new people, but Zach Nelson took one look at that idea, laughed, and said, "Absolutely not."
Zach joined the Blenkonian family in October of last year, and if you've spent any time around the Hot Shop, you've probably met him. Equal parts social butterfly and curiosity, Zach is always ready with a conversation, a question, or a laugh (trust, he'll have you in stitches).
While still early in his apprenticeship, Zach has already proven himself to be a quick learner who's fast on his feet and even faster with his hands considering he's already a very talented stick-up. He approaches every day with confidence, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to soak up everything he can about the craft, and we just can’t get enough of it!
When the day's work is done, Zach likes to massage his brain grooves by diving into a good book. His genre of choice? Horror, of course. The creepier, spookier, and gorier, the better. If it leaves most people sleeping with the lights on, he's probably already read it as something casual with a chuckle. Thats just more proof to us that it'll take an awful lot to shake him since he's always ready for the next crazy twist!
Zach, thank you for bringing your energy, enthusiasm, and drive to the Hot Shop every day. We can't wait to watch your skills continue to grow and where they might take you. We're so glad you're part of the Blenkonian family!
