Employee Spotlight: Dillon Wells - Watchman
Do you believe in Magic?
Not everyone needs to be loud to make an impact, some just quietly keep things from falling apart. Dillon Wells is one of those people.
Since joining us in January, Dillon has stepped into his role as watchman ready for action by helping keep furnaces filled amd loved, the grounds in check, and our glass safe and sound. It’s not always the flashiest job, but it’s an important one, and Dillon handles it like an absolute pro.
He may seem a man of few words, but when Dillon first came on, he had plenty of questions and a clear curiosity about the history behind our pieces and projects. That spark hasn’t gone anywhere, it’s just paired now with a bit more experience and confidence.
When he’s off the clock, Dillon trades one kind of strategy for another as a collector of trading cards, especially Magic: The Gathering. Turns out patience, focus, and a good game plan go a long way both on the job and at the card table. If you see Dillon swinging at you with a couple 10/10 dragons that have flying, haste, and trample, just know it ain't nothing personal. It's proof that solid planning, a deep understanding of what's in front of you, and a little creativity with the hand you are dealt can win you the game. Don't hate the player, friends, hate the game!
We’re lucky to have Dillon keeping an eye on things (literally). Even if you don't see him around much during the day, we know he is always ready for our next play and ever so vigilant!
