Employee Spotlight - Travis Miller
Travis joined us a mould-holder in January 2023 and since then has become one of the best mould-holders and carry-ins we have in our Shop. He’s been the anchor man on Shop1 for months now, and did the work of carrying in our West Virginia Day domes and Companions to the lehr - tricky work! He’s a calming, good natured presence on the shop floor, and performs his work mindfully and with cheer. When we have a brand new mould or form, it’s Travis we call on to hold it or carry it in, because every single one of the steps on the hot shop floor is critical to the success of our glass. We’re proud to invest in training and nurturing the next generation of Appalachian glassworkers like Travis!
