Employee Spotlight – Toril Lavender
It’s a terrible, terrible paradox that we couldn’t have Toril take her own photo for this particular employee spotlight. She is, after all, the one who captures most of our employees in action – to say nothing of the beautiful shots she gets every week of our new and classic products, or the amazing candids she takes as she works her way through the factory or during our special events. She’s got an incredible eye, a ready smile and laugh, and remarkable artistic flair for photographing glass – which is very hard to do! She’s game for anything – whether it’s dragging equipment and ducking low ceilings in a coal mine for our WV Day shoot, or evading bugs and poison ivy in her beautiful natural-setting shots. Her work for us grows and evolves all the time, and we consider ourselves incredibly lucky to secure homegrown talent like Toril.
