Employee Spotlight: Skyler Workman - Hot Shop Apprentice
Some people wait their turn, but Skyler Workman built his own lane. Skyler joined the Blenko family in October of 2025, and while he may be one of our newer faces, glass is nothing new to him. Hailing from Kokomo way, he comes from a long lineage in the craft, and it shows. Even outside of work, he’s creating stunning stained glass pieces that have a way of stopping you in your tracks.
Since day one, Skyler has been on the move and picking up speed. He started out like all apprentices, holding moulds and carrying in, but it didn’t take long to see he was hungry for more. These days, you’ll find him working alongside Mr. James Woodson in our Make-Your-Own Experiences, helping guide customers while sharpening his own skills at the same time.
And sharpen them he has. In between working with guests, Skyler’s been gathering, blowing, and finishing smaller pieces, building a skillset that’s growing by the day. He’s bold, creative, direct, and always pushing himself to learn more, do more, and be more. Safe to say, this is just the beginning for Skyler Workman, and we’re glad he’s making it happen right here at Blenko.
