Employee Spotlight: Chris Chapman

If glassblowing were a pizza, Chris Chapman would be the cheese-stuffed crust!

A true master of his craft, Chris joined the Blenko family in June 2017 and has worked his way through every role on the hot shop floor, earning his well-deserved title as our Master Finisher on Shop 1.

Talent clearly runs in the family. Chris’s father, Rick Chapman, was one of Blenko’s veteran glassblowers, and it’s safe to say the artistry didn’t skip a generation. With steady hands, a creative eye, and a calm under pressure that would make molten glass jealous, Chris ensures every piece that leaves Shop 1 shines with signature Blenko quality.

Beyond the bench, Chris is known for keeping spirits high and laughter flowing. Whether he’s cracking jokes or sharing his deep, undying love affair with pepperoni pizza, he’s the kind of teammate everyone’s glad to have around. Reliable, talented, and never afraid to be a little cheesy, Chappy proves every day that great glass, like great pizza, is all about the perfect finish.
