Overall the vase is beautiful. What I do not like is the sandblasting on the bottom. Its barely there and the guy at the end of the cooling process should take the placement of the sandblast very serious. To me, this is a quality control issue and should revisit the process so your product is better. Especially for the collectors.
This beautiful piece is so much lovelier than the photos! Blenko glass is a quality second to none. I’m an avid collector of both new and vintage Blenko. I always get the pieces signed because it is another authentication step and I hope my collection lives on long after me.
It is even better in person. Love the rim. I got the ball for it and its beautiful but with the pretty rim, it doesn't need the ball.
The color combination alone makes this feel like functional art — the deep cobalt topper against the fiery red, orange, and golden sunset tones creates an incredible glow and depth. What really stands out is how the light moves through the glass. Depending on the angle and lighting, the colors shift and almost appear alive. The craftsmanship is exceptional, with that signature hand-blown character that gives every piece its own personality instead of looking factory-made.
