We recommend using fishing line or another clear filament thread to hang your window decoration to best suit your desired look.

All of the suncatchers we make pass through Jenni’s skilled and capable hands. Whether a suncatcher available to all – or a custom suncatcher for your particular purposes – Jenni moves seamlessly from art to carve, translating designs into carefully-carved graphite stamps, each of which leaves behind its impression on extra-hot glass out of our furnaces.

Gonze is a trained glass artist: she studied under the illustrious Kelsey Murphy (designer of our WV Day 2022 piece, ‘Cabin in the Woods’), learning cameo carving and cold finishing techniques for giving finished wares an extra layer – or ten! – of artistry. She has worked with Blenko for nearly a decade, during which she has continuously innovated and evolved our suncatcher offerings from a few line ‘catchers to the wide variety you see now.

Sentimental Cardinal Suncatcher

I’m a WV crafts gift giver, and Blenko is my go to for sentimental suncatchers. They come at such an affordable price and are great gifts to friends and family for the holidays. My son and husband love skiing so they both got skicatchers last year, and this year my husband got a possum one in honor of his favorite band “Phish” iykyk! I’m a huge fan of Liz Pavlovic so if I can snatch up her designs it’s a bonus, and this year I got the Alien Sun catcher because it matches his freak. Plus mine because I’m the proud owner of the Flatwoods Monster decanter;) The cardinal sun catcher is on a more personal level as my sister recently lost her husband unexpectedly. She loves cardinals and has honored past loved ones with personalized porcelain birds that sit around the house. I saw this sun catcher and immediately wanted to help add to her collection in honor of my much loved brother in law. I always give her a Blenko water glass pitcher every year to add to her collection (it’s hard to keep track of colors), but I’m so excited to give her this piece this year. Issue with suncatcher

I sent question to you and did not receive response. The back of my suncatcher has a chunk out of it at the hole to put string for hanging. Should it be that way? It’s not smooth and rather sharp.
