Praise the Lord and pass the biscuits! This small serving or decorative bowl blends timeless freeform Blenko technique with contemporary finishing and a hearty dash of style. A spun and flared bowl is cut into four folded corners, the bends and facets of which catch the light and charm the eye. Showcasing our handmade techniques and traditions, each one of these bowls will be just a little different – the result of the alchemy of time, temperature, and sequence! Free/form and functional.

James Arnett

James Arnett joined Blenko in 2023 as Creative Director, overseeing design, media, and narrative. He designed the 2023 West Virginia Day piece, “Specimen,” and its companions “If It Ain’t Broke” and “Gaslighting” lamp, and the 2023 Festival of Glass Square Peg Decanter, table lanterns, and 2023 holiday designs. He also works with and manages Guest Artists and Designers, and liaises with the academic and art glass communities.

The shape is so perfect. I love it. The color is so striking. The cobalt just reaches out and grabs me. I love love love it.

Beautiful piece - effective but strange packaging

This is another beautiful piece by Blenko! I was delighted to receive my bowl and appreciate its design.

Blenko conscientiously wraps the bowl in plastic and the sprays expanding packaging foam in the box to protect the piece in shipping. Unfortunately the plastic slipped from around my bowl and some of the foam is stuck on the bottom of my piece. Hopefully it will be able to be rubbed off.

My Forever Lamp

I am so in love with this beautiful lamp. I've been wanting one for the longest! The color is just gorgeous. This is definitely my forever lamp that will be passed down to my daughter. It took less than a week to arrive after I ordered. Now the hard part....finding that perfect shade.

Canary water bottle

The canary is a beautiful color. I really like it and have actually made a lamp using a usb rechargeable light bulb and clip on lamp shade. It is adorable on my kitchen countertop as a night light.

An amazing experience

James & Joseph were extremely friendly, & informative & provided all the help we needed to create our own glass pieces. Really good guys. I recommend this tour 100 %. It is a must do and worth a special trip to Winton WV

It was beautiful amber orange like from the 70s glass. My friend loved it! Bigger than I thought which makes it nicer in the window.
