Employee Spotlight: Shane Stuart – Watchman
If you’ve ever wondered who keeps an eye on things while the rest of us are having a good snooze, grab a flashlight and look no further. Shane Stuart joined the Blenko family in June of 2025 and quickly assumed his role as Watchman, aka the keeper of the night, protector of the furnaces, and official guardian of the glow.
As a Watchman, Shane helps fill and maintain furnaces, assists with maintenance projects, keeps eyes on the lehr, pulls glass, takes temps, keeps the grounds secure, and generally makes sure everything (and everyone) survives the night in one piece. If it’s after hours and something needs doing, Shane is on it, probably with a joke locked and loaded. He’s curious by nature, always asking questions, learning how things work, and somehow managing to make any task a little more entertaining.
Shane is known for being quick with a laugh, quicker to lend a hand, and genuinely happy to help out. Whether it’s troubleshooting an issue, jumping into a project, or just keeping spirits up during the quiet hours, Shane brings good energy to every shift.
We’re grateful for Shane and the important role he plays behind the scenes, because while most of us are getting our beauty rest, he’s out there keeping the fires burning, the doors locked, and the vibes just right. Thanks for everything you do, Shane. The night shift wouldn’t be the same without you!
