Employee Spotlight - Sean Mullens

Our apprentices come in usually pretty ready to be dazzled by hot glass. It takes a different kind of apprentice to see the whole process from the bird’s eye view – so when Sean volunteered to learn extra skills in our Cold Shop, we sent him there first for the cross-training hours. But this guy landed comfortably and fit right in. He joins a really experienced crew – some of our longest-serving employees live in our Grinding room - so we’re over the moon to get new blood back there learning the ropes! He’s already pretty handy on a grinding wheel - and he just learned how to grind stoppers. Just the tip of the iceberg (cold shop pun intended), and he’s on his way!
