Employee Spotlight: Mason Allen – Mould Technician

Look what I found! Can we keep him, Mom? Can we??

Mason joined the Blenko team in May of 2025, fresh out of high school and already proving that age is just a number when it comes to talent, drive, and knowing exactly how to make everyone around him laugh. From day one, he brought an infectious energy to the shop that made it very clear he was going to fit right in.

As our Mould Technician, Mason digitizes our designs/templates and operates the CNC machine to help create new moulds right here on site. Translation: when you see a brand-new piece come to life, Mason is who we have to thank for ensuring we have moulds on time and ready for production. He also assists with archival work, carefully helping preserve Blenko’s rich history, which is impressive for someone who still remembers senior year like it was literally yesterday. It just goes to show that we have the right people just as interested in preserving our history as helping shape the future.

Mason first joined us as an intern, spending his initial three months working with our archival/marketing department. Somewhere along the way, he quietly became indispensable. Between his strong work ethic, quick learning curve, and ability to make even the busiest days a little more fun, it became clear that letting him go was not an option; we liked him so much, we just had to keep him permanently.

When he is not at Blenko, Mason is juggling college life at Marshall University, where he is pursuing a BFA in Studio Art with a minor in Communications. Balancing classes, creativity, and a full work schedule is no small feat, but Mason handles it with the same enthusiasm he brings to the studio everyday.

Young, friendly, endlessly energetic, and always at the ready with a quick joke or a meme reference, Mason has quickly become a bright spot in our day-to-day operations. We are grateful for the skills he brings, the laughter he provides, and the future he is helping build here at Blenko. We are lucky to have you, Mason, and we cannot wait to see where you go next, preferably without taking the CNC machine with you.
