Employee Spotlight - Larry Tuber

Please join us in recognizing Larry Tuber, Director of Glass Operations! Since joining the Blenko team in May 2024, Larry has made a tremendous impact on our operations, technology, and facilities.

Larry is the driving force behind the day-to-day operations of our factory, helping keep everything moving while leading our glass operations with experience, knowledge, and, of course, a great sense of humor. With a career in glassmaking dating back to the 1980s, Larry brings decades of hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of the craft to Blenko.

Larry is not only a strong leader, but also an accomplished and award-winning glass artist with more than 40 years of experience. His work includes unique, handcrafted pieces, including vessels and sculptural work. He also brings extensive experience in building, repairing, and maintaining glass furnaces, an invaluable skill in keeping our hot shop operating safely and efficiently One of  Larry’s greatest strengths is his willingness to share his knowledge. Whether he’s troubleshooting a problem, working alongside the team, teaching the next generation of glassmakers, or finding ways to improve our operations, Larry is always willing to lend his expertise and help others grow.

When he’s not keeping the factory running or creating with glass, Larry enjoys swimming, spending time with his family, and relaxing with his girlfriend and their dog, Skye.

Larry’s leadership, craftsmanship, mentorship, and sense of humor make him an invaluable part of the Blenko family. We are grateful for everything he brings to our team and for the many ways he continues to help keep Blenko Glass moving forward!
