Employee Spotlight – Kristin Dillon-Tomblin

Kristin joined Blenko in October 2022 at the end of the lehr, where she judges the quality of our glass as it comes out of annealing. We’ve added inventory management to her plate, too, but it’s her eyes that we rely on – from the first of any ware that comes out of the lehr, she can raise the alarm on adjustments needed to correct course during production. She’s firm and fair, and the first, but not the last, word on quality control. More than that, she’s an awful lot of fun, and keeps the tail end of the hot shop going and her coworkers in stitches.
