Employee Spotlight: Josh Jones

Please join us in celebrating Josh Jones, a rising star here at Blenko Glass Company!

Josh joined our Apprenticeship Program in January of 2024. Since day one, he’s brought incredible energy, a positive attitude, and a deep eagerness to learn every part of the glassmaking process. Over the past several months, Josh has worked through a variety of roles — from carry-in, to mould holder, to gatherer and Josh has embraced each challenge with enthusiasm. Now he’s taking on one of the most exciting challenges yet: glassblowing! In fact, nearly all of our handcrafted garden spears this season were blown by Josh himself as part of his hands-on training.

We’re proud to support Josh’s journey and can’t wait to see where his passion and dedication take him next. Keep up the fantastic work, Josh — you’re shaping more than glass here at Blenko, and we are all blown away!
