Employee Spotlight: Janet Collins – Assistant Warehouse Manager
Janet has two modes: getting things done and telling you why it already shoulda been.
When Janet Collins joined the Blenko team in November of 2021, it was clear she was not going to be a background character. Currently serving as Assistant Warehouse Manager, Janet helps Mrs. Sue run the warehouse by picking, packing, and scanning boxes with speed, accuracy, and a level of confidence that can only be described as fearless.
Janet is bold in the best way possible. She tackles her responsibilities head-on, never hesitating to jump in where she is needed most, and honestly, she might just tell you to move so you don’t break her stride. Whether it’s managing a busy shipping day, grading glass, or making sure every box is ready to go from beginning to end, Janet approaches her work with determination and pride. If something needs done, Janet is already on it and asking what she can do next.
Beyond her job duties, Janet is the heartbeat of the warehouse. She has a personality that fills the room and a presence that makes everyone feel instantly at home. Being around Janet feels a lot like sitting in the kitchen with your sassy momma on a Sunday afternoon, snacks on the table, stories being told, and nobody leaving hungry. She brings humor, honesty, and a whole lot of heart to the workday.
Janet’s dedication, grit, and larger-than-life spirit make her an invaluable part of the Blenko family. We are thankful for everything she does and for the attitude she brings to the warehouse every single day.
