Employee Spotlight: Heather McKenna - Finisher

Heather joined the Blenko family in January of 2023 and has been crushing it ever since. Gentle and soft-spoken, Heather is proof that you don’t have to be the loudest person in the room to be seen or heard. She’s unbelievably flexible, wildly creative, and has a knack for making tricky work look effortless, which is both inspiring and mildly suspicious.
Currently, Heather is a finisher on one of our Water Bottle Shops, where her attention to detail and steady hands shine. She’s also learning to gather and finishing other pieces, expanding her glassmaking skills and proving once again that she’s always up for a new challenge, even if she approaches it calmly and without making a big fuss about it.
Between her calm presence, creative spirit, and quiet determination, Heather brings a balance to the team that we truly couldn’t do without. We’re incredibly lucky to have her at Blenko, and honestly, we wouldn’t want a single workday without our Heather and her iconic hat.
