
Employee Spotlight: Amber “Bam” Clifford - Customer Service Supervisor
We’ve got our googly eyes on you, Bamber!
Meet Amber Clifford, our Customer Service Supervisor, who joined the Blenko Glass family in February 2020. Amber, known to many around campus as “Bam,” has built an incredible career here, growing from the production floor to the front office and now into leadership.
She began at Blenko as a Lehr Operator, catching glass after the annealing process and carefully grading each piece as first or second quality. In 2022, Amber moved into the office as a Customer Service Representative, where her natural skill with people quickly shined. By 2024, she stepped confidently into her role as Customer Service Supervisor, where she’s truly found her home.
Amber brings well over a decade (or whatever, who’s counting?) of customer service experience, whether working for someone else (like us!) or running her own coffee shop a few years back (you may have heard of a little place in Huntington called the Java Joint?). That background, paired with her deep creativity, makes her a natural problem-solver and a steady voice for both our customers and her team. Around campus, Amber is well liked and respected, not only for her expertise, but also for her willingness to jump in wherever she’s needed. She has even dipped her toe into inventory for a while when the moment called for it, always eager to learn, adapt, and lend a hand.
Flexibility, pride in the Blenko brand, and a fun presence are what define Amber’s contributions here. Whether she’s supporting her team, solving customer needs, or taking on new challenges, she does it all with dedication, heart, and googly eyes.
