John Blenko’s Sandblasted Signature

I like having John’s signature on the pieces I buy. I suggest the signature be added to all pieces and not be an additional charge. It’s a great way to limit the copy cat glass out there. I’m fairly new to Blenko and it’s difficult for me to be certain of the authenticity of the older pieces. Thank you for your beautiful work.

Color

It’s beautiful, but I wish it had a more amber color. The color choices looked like this would amber, but not really.

I have numerous pieces of Blenko glass. Some pieces are very old I inherited from my mother and grandmother. I was born in Huntington, WVA and remember my grandparents taking me to the Blenko factory as a child. I am now 75 yo and live in Alabama. My grandfather worked 50 years for C&O railroad so I especially loved my last purchase.

Collegiate 384 Water Bottle: University of Alabama, Crimson Tide Logo - Ruby

The Jupiter water bottle is fantastic with the colors and frit in the piece. It does connotate the coldness of colors in its planet.
