A small piece with a powerful purpose.
These 4” suncatchers catch the light in the most beautiful way—casting soft, radiant color wherever they hang. Handcrafted in our new Fig color, each piece is designed to bring warmth, hope, and a little everyday magic into your space.
Created in partnership with EB Research Partnership (EBRP), each suncatcher features their logo and gives back in a meaningful way—50% of every purchase goes directly to support critical EB research. We retain only what’s needed to craft the glass.
It’s a simple, beautiful way to fill your home with a piece of handcrafted glass while helping fund life-changing research.
EB Research Partnership was founded in 2010 by a group of parents set out to save their children’s lives along with Jill and Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam) with one bold audacious goal: cure the devastating and life-threatening genetic rare skin disease Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) as quickly as possible and in the process, pioneer an innovative business model to lead the way for 10,000 rare diseases that affect 400 million people.
EBRP utilizes an innovative business model of Venture Philanthropy. When making a grant to a research project they retain the added upside of generating an additional revenue stream if the therapy or product is commercially successful, and use the return on investment to fund additional EB research until a cure is found. Since their inception, EBRP has raised $80M+ to fund 189 EB research projects to completely transform the landscape for EB. They're proud to say that the results from these investments have been life-changing. They have seen an increase in clinical trials by more than 25X from 2 to over 50, and these efforts directly led to the first-ever FDA-approved treatments for EB. Notably, EBRP directly funded the science behind VYJUVEK and ZEVASKYN, two of the three FDA-approved EB treatments, through our Venture Philanthropy model, and realized up to a 600% return on our investments to invest in further research.
While these milestones are incredibly exciting, their work is not done. EBRP' team is more laser-focused than ever on a cure and will continue to fund the most innovative and promising science in EB from around the world. 50% of the proceeds from this suncatcher will benefit EBRP's mission and will go directly towards the funding of their research project.
