When we heard the news that the world had lost Dolly Parton, like so many of you, our hearts sank.

Dolly was larger than life. A songwriter and storyteller. An Appalachian icon. A woman who made us laugh, made us cry, and reminded generations of dreamers that where you come from doesn’t have to limit where you can go.

As we thought about how to honor her, we kept coming back to one question:

What would Dolly do? She’d do some good.

So we reached out to our friends at Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Virginia.

Together, we created this special Blenko suncatcher that celebrates Dolly’s life, music, and extraordinary commitment to putting books into the hands of children. Through our Glass for Good initiative, half of the proceeds from this collaboration will go directly to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of West Virginia.

Dolly once said, “You can never get enough books into the hands of enough children.”

We can’t think of a better way for two Appalachian institutions to honor her than by helping do exactly that.
