The signature was the finishing touch! I was so yhrilled to hace received my stunning piece. Growing up in Kanawha County, my family made regular trips to Milton to admire the craftsmen at work. Momma would always buy a special piece of Blenko Glass as a souvenir. Then we would picnic there. It was so enchanting to see those fires roaring as the glassblowers worked their magic blowing into those long metal rods, then swinging them, and then resting them on wooden bars as they took other implements to shape that hot ball of molten glass. Those men were brilliant.
I LOVE my new decanter. I have a real Void Cat, so I had to choose a place where he wouldn’t be able to test gravity. I visited the factory in the spring. It was an amazing experience!
