Employee Spotlight: Wiley Tokarz – Hot Shop Apprentice

Some people collect hobbies, but Wiley Tokarz seems to collect accomplishments.

Wiley joined the Blenkonian family in February of this year, bringing with him a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, a background as an Eagle Scout, and experience on his college's Baja Design Team. If you're keeping score at home, that's a pretty impressive résumé for someone who's just getting started.

Despite all those accolades, Wiley is one of the most humble and easygoing people you'll meet. He's kind, gentle, and always ready for a good chat and a laugh. Since joining the hot shop, he's been soaking up knowledge like a sponge and putting that engineering brain to work as he continues developing his glassmaking skills, starting with carrying in and holding the 384 mould for our ever-important Water Bottle shop .

When he's not at Blenko, there's a good chance you'll find him tinkering with a project, solving a problem, or finding another excuse to build something. It's just how he's wired. We're excited to watch Wiley continue to grow as a craftsman and can't wait to see where his journey takes him. We're so proud to have him as part of the Blenkonian family.
