Employee Spotlight: Jordan "Jordie" Griffin

Say hello to Jordan Griffin, a dedicated member of the Blenko family since February 2020! Currently working as a Junior Blower in the hot shop, Jordie’s glassblowing journey has been one of quiet consistency, learning, and growth. Over the years, he's proven himself time and time again, not just with the pipe, but by stepping up in nearly every role when the team has needed him (sometimes that just so happens to be at the Gathering of the Juggalos).

He may not say much, but when Jordie’s in the room, you know it. Whether it’s his steady hands shaping molten glass, bright green clown shirt, or the quick-witted comments he drops when you least expect them, he brings a unique kind of energy to the floor.

Jordie’s also known for being a bit food-driven. A few biscuits from just up the way and a cold Faygo will earn you some serious points. But it’s not just food and fire that keep him going. Music is a huge part of Jordie’s world. He’s always repping his favorite artists, whether it's with a t-shirt, a playlist, or a story from a show. In addition, he creates his own music with the same passion and creativity he brings to the hot shop every day.

What we love most about Jordie is that he feels like everyone’s little brother. Loyal, dependable, funny, and always there when you need him. He might keep to himself at times, but he’s the kind of person who shows up, works hard, and does it all with heart. He’s an essential part of our team, and we’re proud to watch him grow as a glassblower and as a person.

We're lucky to have him, and we can’t wait to see where his talents take him next.
