We all know that glass can be fragile, but so can all of the moving parts that bring to life the color, shape, and joy of Blenko.
Late in December 2021, a small leak was found in our furnace that holds our Charcoal glass. Due to this, our maintenance department is in the process of tearing down the old furnace and installing and bringing the new furnace to temperature. Normally, our furnaces will last in excess of 12 months; however, this one went out early likely due to the manganese in Charcoal eating away at the inside of the pot. Once our new pot furnace is installed and bricked up it will take approximately 3 weeks to gradually heat to temperatures of 2400 degrees.

Due to maintenance being performed on our Charcoal furnace, we are writing to inform you that orders with items in that color will experience delays. Rest assured we are working hard to get your Charcoal Blenko out the door and into your homes. We apologize for this delay in service and appreciate your continued patience, patronage, and support.
