I put this in my window and the sun shining though it brings out the beautiful color. It makes me happy to look at and brightens my day.
I love Blenko, and I have a lot of it. This was my least favorite piece. I did talk to CUSTOMER SERVICE and they are sending me a replacement, so we will see if that one turns out a little better. It wasn’t clear to me whether it was supposed to be somewhat glowing in the dark. Some of the versions I saw online indicated as such. Jar itself was not very vibrant and there was nothing about it that said lightning bug to me. I realize that every piece is custom-made, which is one of the reasons I love Blenko. But this looks like it was either rushed or something happened to the phosphorus when they were trying to add the glow. It looked like it should have been a second.
