Blenko Featured In USA Today Article

We were recently featured in an article on the USA Today website about ‘Free Tourist Attractions In Each State’. They focus on our glassblowing demonstrations and guided factory tours. CLICK HERE TO READ FULL ARTICLE. Guided tours may be scheduled for Mon- Fri. You must call at least 7 days prior to your arrival to schedule in advance guided.tours. (Call 304-743-9081) and request to speak to the Visitors Center. For safety reasons, participants of scheduled guided tours can not wear open toed shoes on shop floor. No hot glass produced on weekends thus there are no weekend tours. All tours end by 2:30 in the afternoon due to the excessive heat in the factory. Glassblowing demonstrations can be viewed from our observation deck during any hours of production. No reservations required to view glassblowing demonstrations from the observation deck . NOTE: tour area is NOT handicap accessible.

2nd Annual Glassapalooza Extravaganza

The 2nd Annual Glassapalooza extravaganza will be on the lawn at the legendary Blenko Glass Company on Saturday, May 19th from 11am to 6pm! It’s a free admission family friendly environment with food vendors. Blenko will be offering glassblowing classes during the festival. (Advanced Registration Required, Class schedule can be seen below the flyer) Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a wonderful day of music from bands from our wild state. Country to bluegrass, to rock to jazz! We got your ears covered!

Crackled and pinched – this is an object we have never allowed classes to make before. This is our classic 418L dimpled AND crackled tumbler. It is 6 inches tall and holds 16 oz. Produced by Blenko since 1948 by the tens of thousands. But this one will be made By You! Choose from several colors available in our tanks that days. Color availability may vary.
