When placed in direct sunlight, the Strata vase gives off a glow that fills the room. When placed on a chest against the wall, it shows a more muted, sophisticated look. The curvature and color of the vase are beautiful. It reminds me of a more rounded version of a Mayan pyramid with a temple at the top.

Several years ago we visited Blenko Glass Company during a vacation. We saw how their products are made and were impressed with the craftsmanship. This recent internet order did not disappoint and it's nice to know the products are made in the USA. The package was well protected with the vase encased inside a form fit form surround.
