The elegantly tapered lamp base sits on a circular wooden plaque, and is finished with a cleanly tapered matching teardrop finial. James Arnett

James Arnett joined Blenko in 2023 as Creative Director, overseeing design, media, and narrative. He designed the 2023 West Virginia Day piece, “Specimen,” and its companions “If It Ain’t Broke” and “Gaslighting” lamp, and the 2023 Festival of Glass Square Peg Decanter, table lanterns, and 2023 holiday designs. He also works with and manages Guest Artists and Designers, and liaises with the academic and art glass communities.

Drop Lamp Turquoise

The most beautiful lamp. I love the color and shape and the finial is gorgeous. Thank you for the best lamp I could ever imagine. I appreciate the hard work to make your amazing lamps. Thank you very much.

Underwhelming

I waited four months for fulfilment on this, and the blue of the body of the lamp is turquoise but the blue on the top of the lampshade is markedly different, a bright bold blue. Both colors are attractive but the mismatch is off-putting, and I regret paying so much and waiting so long.

Sleek Deep Purple Design

I bought one of each size. Each one is expertly made, sleek, and has a nice deep purple coloration. Almost looks black until the sun hits it. Love the 1970’s feel the cork lids give them. Would love to see these in the new Butternut color…
