This year's piece, “Take Me Home,” is an homage to the curvaceous and winding roads that wrap around the hills, valleys, and mountains of our great state.
Designed and individually hand signed by our long time Blenko staff member Charlie Harshbarger, this piece stands 16” tall and is available in Blenko’s newest shade of green, Mint. This green pays tribute to the lush forests and woodlands that surround us in the Mountain State. The annual piece is also hand signed by Blenko Glass Company President, John W. Blenko.
As a reminder, the first 50 pieces will be offered for auction on our eBay store beginning at 12noon EST (9:00am PST) on Thursday, October 15. The auction will run through the weekend, lasting five days in total. The pieces will start with an opening bid of $157.
In order to place a bid, you will need to register for an account on eBay.
For more information on bidding, please review their documentation here:
The remaining pieces numbered 51-157 will be offered on our website as individual numbered items. These will also be on sale beginning Thursday, October 15 at 12noon EST. Please be aware that these items will sell FAST. If you are interested in purchasing a particular number, you should be paying close attention to our website at the time of launch.
We also suggest that you create a user account on our website prior to the launch as to avoid having to go through that process during checkout. This is not mandatory, only a suggestion. You will also be able to checkout as a Guest.
Also, West Virginia Pieces are limited to one piece per customer. We are going on the honor system and hope you will respect our wishes so that more people may have an opportunity to own one of these historic pieces.
We will be monitoring the sales closely and any sales found to have purchased multiple pieces WILL be cancelled.
If you have any questions or concerns preceding this sale, please contact us via our website and a member of our Customer Service department will reach out.
As always, we appreciate you and are very much looking forward to this event!
